The deep waters surrounding Efate and the Vanuatu Islands are an ideal fishing ground for anglers who strive to meet the challenge of catching the big one. Abyssal depths can be reached only a few miles away from the shore of nearly all islands and the variety and number of fish is amazing.

If you want to catch some fish, you’ve come to the right place.
Your fishing adventure will start in beautiful Havannah Harbour on the leeward side of the island which, is the calm side and is a scenic 40-minute drive from Port Vila. We can arrange return transfers if required from Port Vila.
After a 10 minute cruise from Havannah Harbour, you’re in a world class fishing zone where Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna and the usual pelagics abound. This, combined with the lee coastline, provides relatively calm seas which makes Vanuatu the ultimate destination for game fishing.
Game Fishing in Vanuatu is favoured all year round. There is simply great fishing for everyone.
On board you will have the opportunity to catch:
Pacific Blue Marlin: All year round, peak season April to January
Black Marlin: April to October
Striped Marlin: August to November
Sailfish: All year round, peak season May to December
Yellowfin Tuna: All year round depending on currents
Mahi Mahi: May to December
Wahoo: May to December
Dogtooth Tuna: All year round
Skipjack Tuna: All year round
Swordfish: All year round
Inshore Species: All year round
We’re not as far away as you might think.
Although the whole idea of a “remote island paradise” tends to evoke images of long journeys and multiple stops, if you’re in Australia or New Zealand, it doesn’t take much longer to get here than it would to mow the lawns and clean up the yard. And we know what we’d rather be doing.
